I’m in business!

Just mailed my first order!  Woo-hoo!!

I had someone contact  me from my “Coming Soon” website and ask if I could make some blinged up shirts for her.  Yes, I Can.

She wanted two shirts; for two different teams.  The player’s name on the back and the team name on the front.  Although they took me quite a bit of time to make, I thought they turned out great.  It was fun working on them, and it looks like I’m in business!

Let the bling begin!

Okay.  I am s…l…o….w….l….y figuring out my new software and equipment.  Thought I’d display my first two bling items.   I’m hoping that sooner rather than later this is going to get easier and quicker, but I’ve started!

Setting up the office

I was going to try to get my vinyl cutter up and running today, but I’ve run into problems installing the software and while I’m waiting for a call from tech support, I thought I’d post some pictures of my equipment.

Here is my GCC Puma III vinyl cutter.  This will cut the rhinestone templates.  I guess I should say that AFTER I can get past my installation problems and learn how to operate it, this will cut the rhinestone templates.

Here is my Geo Knight K20S digital swing-away press.  I haven’t tried to use this yet, but I think this one is pretty simple.

Shelves are up; waiting for blank t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.  I’m in the process of setting up a wholesale account with SanMar.

I’ve got all the rhinestones put away in containers, grouped by stone type, labeled, and alphabetized by color.  This is the part that I can’t wait to use.

Okay, maybe I’ll go set up the new printer/scanner/fax while I wait for the tech support call on the vinyl cutter.

IT’S DONE!!!!

The construction is finished!  The room is done!!

Okay, the electrician is coming over to drop the tv and cable cords in the wall, and the painter forgot to paint the toe-kick (?) thingy under my cabinets, but those are quick trips, and no big deal, and I am moving stuff into my new room today!

It’s been a long time.  They started in December. D E C E M B E R!  In case anyone isn’t aware of the lapse of time here, let me remind you that it is now March.  But I am happily typing this right now on my new desk, in front of my new window, and the construction guys are GONE!

I’m not all the way in yet, but here are some pics to show you the room.
